Model Design and Mechanics

The most detailed futuristic design of the model allows you to observe the fascinating movement of parts, the rotation of gears and the flywheel, to study the operation of the piston mechanism - the main mechanical units of the present steam locomotive.

At one factory, your new locomotive passes up to four meters. And the direction of movement is switched by a small lever on the model body. The V-Express locomotive has three modes of movement: forward, back and neutral. It is in neutral mode that by starting the mechanism, you will be able to consider how the moving elements of the model work, without fear that the Express will rush along the rails in the distance. And by switching the locomotive to reverse, you can carry out automatic coupling with a tender, which is part of the model.

Tender

The model tender deserves special attention. In addition to the rising sides, the trailed car has a hatch for supplying coal, closing on a miniature gate valve. Since, unlike prototypes, the Locomotive V-Express does not work on coal, but on a rubber motor, there is a lot of free space in the tender that you can use to deliver small loads: sweets, souvenirs, notes. The model also includes 2.45 m of rails.
