Create your own smart home, which requires only a smartphone with access to the Internet. The Sonoff Basic Wi-fi outlet will teach your phone how to control household appliances at a distance: housing will warm up by your arrival, the kettle will boil and even turn off the forgotten iron.

Remotely turn on or off light and household appliances with a total power of up to 2 kW.

Control the devices according to the specified scenario using eight timers. For example, automate the reboot of routers, turn off the computer and TV according to the schedule, regularly warm up the house.

Simulate presence in the apartment: include music and light.

How does it work

The phone and outlet communicate not directly, but through a remote server. This allows you to manage a smart home from anywhere in the world. The main thing is that the phone and outlet are connected to the Internet.

The brain of the system is the Espressif chip ESP8266, which is responsible for the logic of work and WiFi. The muscles of the module are an electromechanical relay with a maximum voltage of 250 V and a current strength of up to 10 A. This is enough to connect most household appliances to the device.

Espressif's ESP8266 chip is responsible for logic and Wi-Fi.
