One of the most effective sound-absorbing materials of the highest quality. CTK WaveFix is a self-adhesive, very flexible, and soft sound-absorbing material made from a special type of polyurethane known as "memory" foam.

It has an exceptionally high ability to dissipate and absorb sound (noise) in the mid and high-frequency range, as well as good thermal insulation properties.

The WaveFix mat works simultaneously in two different areas, as it possesses key properties of both sound-absorbing and noise-insulating materials.

The wave profile increases the active sound-absorbing surface, resulting in significantly higher sound absorption compared to standard flat-surfaced materials. The foam also has the so-called "shape memory effect," meaning it slowly returns to its original shape after strong compression.

CTK WaveFix material provides several times higher sound absorption compared to other standard damping materials of similar thickness. It works most effectively in a wide frequency range above 500 Hz, with noise reduction starting around 100 Hz. This means that for effective and clearly noticeable soundproofing of the car, this material is essential for any professional installation. Due to its very soft elasticity and ability to slowly fill gaps and free spaces between two elements, CTK WaveFix sound-absorbing foams are ideal for reducing squeaks, creaks, and resonances in plastic panels and car upholstery (such as door panels, roof and cabin linings, center tunnel consoles, pillars, trunk lid trims, etc.), acting as soft shock-absorbing pads between two vibrating surfaces, such as between the panel and the inner side of the door.

Thanks to its very soft and flexible structure, CTK WaveFix is very easy to install on flat, uneven, and even highly complex-shaped surfaces. It is designed for use inside the car, mainly behind plastic panels, upholstery, ceiling linings, dashboards, as well as in the trunk, on the surfaces of wheel arches and wings.

When installed on metal parts of the car body (such as the roof, sides, and wheel arches), CTK WaveFix foam mats should be installed as the last acoustic layer (second or third). This material can also be used for soundproofing industrial equipment, machines, and premises, as well as damping the inner surfaces of speakers and subwoofers.
