The Gruff smart plug is a device working in a Wi-Fi network, which can be used to regulate the consumption of electricity. The plug takes Nord Pool prices from the server once a day, and you can set the maximum price at which, for example, the electric boiler will work.
Use, for example, when heating water with an electric boiler, heating a room with radiators or charging a car. The price difference compared to the peak prices of the day is about three times, there is no need to reduce the consumption! The maximum power of the consumer is 3500W, protection 16 amperes. The smart plug works at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The product is intended for indoor use.
Setting up for maximum savings is a fine art.
Initially, also monitor the real electricity consumption and adjust the settings if necessary.
The configuration tools are four tools in the app menu:
Maximum price - set the highest price you want to pay for electricity. During the time that is below your price limit, the equipment will work.
Average working hours - enter the required working hours here. If, in general, the price of electricity is more expensive than the upper price limit you set, the app can also add more expensive hours to the working time. But he does it in such a way that in total you do not pay more for the working hours of the day than the maximum price you set. That is, the averaged price is cheaper than the maximum price limit you set.
Minimum working hours - here you can add the number of hours during which the device must work in any case, regardless of the price. The app selects the cheapest hours during the period (30 hours).
Manually added working hours - here you can add working hours if you want the device to always work at a certain hour. List hours within 24 hours n. 8, 12, 21
Later, when using the app, you can use both Wi-Fi and mobile data connections. When setting up, it is necessary that the phone and the smart plug are on the same Wi-Fi network. Certain phone software versions may interfere with data usage.
