The GEL (gel) series battery is intended, among others, for: for powering photovoltaic systems or vehicles where the battery is exposed to shocks and charging from impulse sources, e.g. solar regulators. Thanks to the construction based on a gelled electrolyte, the GEL (gel) battery is ideal for cyclical operation, even with deep discharges. Achieves several times more discharge cycles compared to batteries made in AGM technology. The designed service life is up to 12 years with buffer operation at 25 °C.


The most important features:


A GEL (gel) battery is similar in structure to an AGM battery, except that in a gel battery, the electrolyte is stored in the form of a gelled paste. Thanks to this construction, it is characterized by better resistance to electrolyte leakage than an AGM battery

Automatic sealing system. When the pressure inside the accumulator is too high, the valves open, causing the resulting gas to be safely discharged outside the housing and prevent damage. This happens when the battery is overcharged

The battery housing is made of ABS material, the cells are made of copper
